Day Of The Honey Bee 2019

The International Day of The Honeybee is held on May 29th every year. This international event is hosted by the Kamloops Beekeepers Club at the Kamloops Farmers Market every year.

The day of the Honey  Bee is fast approaching.  While May 29th is the official day as proclaimed by the BC Government the Kamloops Beekeepers will be marking the day at the Kamloops Farmers Market Saturday, May 25th from 8:30 to 12:30.

Our booth will have activities  for the kids, education bits and bobs and beekeeping fun. If you're able to give a hand and help out we need people throughout  the day but especially at setup and takedown.

We're also looking for honey to have available to sample if you can donate some!

Please contact Oliver at    oly84@live.ca or 250.878.5091
